The issues that H22 stands for within innovation and sustainable cities are the subject of great focus within White. H22 City Expo is the perfect platform to continue this exploration together with different partners and collaborations.
In what way will your involvement contribute to the development of Helsingborg and other cities?
Dynamic Value Map is a context-driven and data-based service for producing integrated and dynamic analyses of planning conditions. Simply put, our ambition is to help our customers and provide them with the right knowledge at the right time in the planning process – to then be able to make the right strategic decisions and have a constructive dialogue with the municipality and other parties based on the right data. We help with everything from strategic selection of input data to visualisation and updated analyses for each stage of the planning process. The service is developed by White Arkitekter’s innovation system White Innovation Lab, and is currently under development.
What challenges does your organisation aim to solve within the context of the H22 initiative?
Sustainable urban development from words to actions. We want to share ideas on how we can make a difference here and now, from inclusive urban planning to engaging detailed design.
Reworking and improvement of existing methods and technologies in combination with innovations that hotwire locked positions that hinder sustainable development and also invite more actors to take part in the urban development.
In what way can Helsingborg be used as a test bed for your organisation and innovations?
The H22/expo format is an interesting catalyst for creating a “state of emergency”. A gathering of forces towards a common, timely goal in the industry to advance solutions that would not be possible, or at any rate take much longer, if it was just “business as usual”.
If Helsingborg can continue in the same way to create clear contexts and arenas/infrastructure for addressing current societal challenges, it would create a very favourable context to which we and our partners could direct our innovation initiatives and pilot projects.
