Why are you choosing to be an H22 partner?
Mindpark is a playful and warm place for creativity, co-creation, and sharing, and a place for daring to test and develop. We’re also neighbours with Oceanhamnen. We are always curious about new ideas, and innovation is something we’re passionate about. We work in the intersection between the public sector, private sector, and public sphere, where we test new ideas because we believe that together we can achieve reality-based change that makes a real difference. We love creativity and developing both new and old structures. Being part of H22 feels like an obvious choice for us!
What does a smarter city mean to you?
Utilising the existing competencies in the city and cooperating with the organisations, companies, and residents that already possess knowledge and experience. Being at the forefront in terms of development and new mindsets regarding important current topics like climate, equal opportunities and equality, diversity, integration, etc., and creatively solving the problems that arise using new technology and approaches. But smart doesn’t necessarily mean digital. We believe that being smart for real is a lot about not forgetting the human factor.
In what way can Helsingborg be used as a test bed for your organisation and innovations?
We love testing new things together with others and see H22 as a natural platform for doing this. We are also located in the Nordic region’s biggest premises for new ideas, and we strive to test how academia, the business sector, and public actors really innovate together.
How is your organisation using the potential of digitisation in the making of a smarter city?
We are a place where development is continuous, both through the companies based here and via events and different activities happening together with us and at Mindpark. At the hackathons we’ve hosted, new smart solutions such as Bintel have been conceived. For us, facilitating digitisation for others is a natural part of development.
