With vast international experience in leading ambitious development projects, Daniel’s work at LABLAB focuses on understanding social, ecological, and spatial transitions. He explores the potential in linking theory and practice in order to reimagine built and unbuilt environments for innovative engagement. Beginning with a frustration about the lack of useful practical tools for designing public places for women, Vesna’s has been a key driver in developing FairSHARE, a certification system that challenges the norms for how we lead, plan, design, and build our cities. His role at UN-Habitat involves driving the implementation of the urban planning and design projects of the Global Public Space Programme.
