Researcher in the Senseable City Lab, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Ricardo Alvarez is a PhD Candidate for the City Design and Development Group in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning and also a researcher in the Senseable City Lab, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research focuses on the creation of urban innovation ecosystems, as well on the next generation of intelligent urban infrastructure systems. In addition to his studies at MIT he holds a Master in International Management degree from Thunderbird and a Bachelor in Industrial and Systems Engineering degree from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
