Why are you choosing to be a H22 partner?
We share the city’s vision for H22 and 2035. We want to be involved in and actively contribute to the development of the city and region through our perspectives on food development and the importance of the food and beverage industry in creating sustainable cities, regions and a sustainable future. Furthermore, we want to emphasize the importance of food for people, where food contributes to integration.

What challenges does your organisation aim to solve within the context of the H22 initiative?
We want to solve the challenges pertaining to old structures, borders and compartments. Furthermore, we want to increase awareness of food and its origin with a more sustainable food supply. We want to elevate Food Heroes and inspire to think in new ways. We want to create collaborations between urban and rural areas. Bring us closer to the earth and our origin, and ask the question: who is the person behind the seed that is swen and cultivated? In this way we can increase the quality of the food that grows from our Swedish soil, contribute to increased self-sufficiency and spread the risks of future climate change. In this way, we create a sustainable future for our farmers and ourselves.
When you imagine the city of the future, what do you picture as the most exciting changes?
A city where life flourishes between the buildings. A city that is built around its people and needs. A green city where produce grows naturally in parks, between buildings and on the edge of town next to the countryside. A city that truly creates sustainably and consciously in collaboration with its people and the surrounding landscape.
In what way can Helsingborg be used as a test bed for your organisation and innovations?
Helsingborg and its surrounding region has the potential to become Sweden’s and perhaps Europe’s leading region for the food and beverage industry. In our climate, we are forced to be more innovative than other regions, which means that we have an innovative explosivity. Helsingborg can be an excellent testing ground to show the courage to go beyond all traditional boundaries and structures to promote wholeness. Goes from duality and polarity to oneness, which serves a greater purpose than old structures do.
