Solving future challenges demands that politicians, associations, businesses, academia, residents, and different actors work together in an entirely new way.

During H22 City Expo, we focus on the kind of leadership required to lead and develop cities in a time when change is the new normal. It’s about how leadership within politics, civil society, academia, and industry need to collaborate in order to solve the challenges of the future.

H22 Arena is located in Hamntorget square in Helsingborg and will create a place for meetings, discussions, talks, and mingling. There will be smaller stages for debates and a bigger stage for more in-depth seminars, along with exhibitor spots and hosting rooms.

Notifications of interest will be processed up until 20 January 2022, after which we will contact the respective actors at the beginning of February.

Hosting rooms

You can book a hosting room for a morning slot,
afternoon slot, or evening mingle.

When your organisation takes over a hosting room for a half-day, you become the principal host, but you must also invite at least one other actor, and preferably others, to participate together with you. Keep in mind that multiple perspectives on the same issue only make it more interesting. To create a good dynamic, the focus should be more on conversation and debate rather than a presentation platform. We will gladly discuss any ideas you may have.

The hosting room shall have a clear theme and name as determined by you as host in dialogue with the H22 team. Hosting rooms will be available in two sizes – 4 rooms sized 100 m2, and 2 rooms sized 25 m2.

The furnishings will be lounge style, and there will be a stage with basic equipment in the form of a screen and headset/mic. You will also have the opportunity to design one of the walls together with the H22 team. The price includes electricity and basic cleaning (more extensive cleaning is charged separately). The rooms are to be left in the condition they were found. Bear in mind that the prep times are fixed in order for the logistics to run smoothly.

Main stage – outdoors

On the main stage will be a moderator. They assume the general hosting duties and will present the various programme items. They then hand over the proceedings to the respective actor who is responsible for what happens on the stage during the slot. The stage comes with a fixed stage design, technical support, and equipment. Each programme item on the main stage will have 40 minutes at their disposal. The capacity audience is around 800.

Focus stage

The focus stage will be located inside the congress facility SeaU and will accommodate a maximum audience of 50 in cinema-style seating. Technical support and equipment will be on hand. Each programme item on the focus stage will have 60 minutes at their disposal, and the stage will have a fixed stage design.

Exhibitor spots

On the new Ångfärjeparken lawn, Helsingborg’s local parties will have the opportunity to express their political views in a way that sparks the curiosity of visitors based on different themes, instead of creating the classic feeling of a “valstuga”, or Swedish election cabin.

Note! This is only available to the eight local parties in Helsingborg, who will be offered an exhibitor spot of 9 m2 for all four days, if the spot is booked by 31 January.
