An innovation culture starts behind the school desk. Or rather around it. Above, under, beside, and in front of the school desk. Perhaps more specifically, in the whole classroom, the whole school, the whole municipality. A true innovation culture not only involves the obvious innovations but also extends beyond boundaries like age, experience, and education. A true innovation culture begins and ends with you and me.<\/p>\n

So, what can a seemingly regular seventeen-year-old from Thor\u00e9n Innovation School add to this? Well, at the moment I\u2019m working with creating an opportunity for senior-level students to create, work with, and present their ideas. To spend a full day in the role of Innovator, and to gain access to the tools they will maybe some day in the future be able to use to change the world. Through lessons\/workshops, a new world can be opened up for young people, where their thoughts and ideas don\u2019t just feel like another homework assignment. But instead, they are seen for what they really are. Namely, a young student\u2019s first step towards changing the world.<\/p>\n

My goal with the project is to create a school culture where young people both directly and indirectly get a chance to train skills that will specifically encourage their entrepreneurial\/intrapreneurial adventure throughout their lives. Moving forward, I want to \u2013 together with other innovators, municipalities, and stakeholders \u2013 influence the future of Helsingborg, Sweden, and the world. One idea at a time.<\/p>\n
